how hard was that motor installation?

Very complex.  Steering box had to be moved back 75mm so I could have a clutch lever, intercooler has to be remounted, had to fabricate a new gearbox mount, custom made tailshaft between gearbox and transfer plus I still have the wiring to look at and all the other bits and pieces.

What ever happened to cubes?

Why 55 hp is plenty for a 700 kg car.  It is a 4WD not a race car.  Some more torque would be nice but all well.  Nice and light engine and I get a five speed and it is Suzuki too.  What else could you want.

660cc man that's tiny.

Thats a big block compared to the LJ20 with it's 359cc :D

but remember the LJ20 is a 2 stroke so it has double the swept volume like a rotary so really its 718cc

what is this double swept volume rubbish??

are you saying if i had a honda CR250 2 stroke bike, it's actually a 500cc bike??

i dont think so. and rotaries aren't in that class either, they're a 4 cycle engine. they have intake, compression, power, exhaust, same as a piston motors, rotors just do it in one revolution.

i believe mazda knows what it is that they built, and they are complianced as a 1200 cc and 1300 cc motor.

Picked it up this morning, got a roadworthy( just needed two bulbs) and now it is registered. Only took $27.00 to fill it up. Will save a fortune in fuel running this little nugget to work and back.  Not bad for $539.00 :D

Am looking for some 15 inch wheels for it if any body knows of any.

Hey I had a Datsun years ago. I used to have a MK patrol shorty before the cruiser.

Bent both side steps and I wasn't revving it that hard. Only about 4000rpm.

Maybe I should sell at least one on them. Can't really drive six cars at once. Or maybe get one more for the every day of the week
