Thank you both, but in my search for other lost items I stumbled across a couple of old King pins that I wasn't sure I had.

Usually I only find stuff like that AFTER I get the replacements.

General Chat / Re: Newcomer - Which Suzuki Grand Vitara

Hi Sun Boy,

By the sounds of it any of the Suzuki models would suit the driving your taking about.

These models are more capable/ modifiable, but the newer models are fine for most bush and beach.

I'm up on the sunny coast, but have a non operational Vitara at the moment otherwise I would take you for a spin.
Do you have a 4x4 at the moment or are you looking to get into it?

General Chat / Newcomer - Which Suzuki Grand Vitara
« Last post by Sun Boy on Yesterday at 04:21:04 PM »
Hi All,

Great forum with loads of helpful information and trip advice.

We have sold our car and are looking to get a Suzuki 4x4. We like the Suzuki Grand Vitara 5 door and are keen to seek opinions as to which models are the best.

We live on the Sunny Coast and are looking to go to Fraser, Moreton etc , and local forest trails. Might also tow a small trailer from time to time. We don't wish to undertake too many mods with tyres, lift, snorkel and sliders about it. Are there any good Suzuki mod shops nearby?

So we are not sure whether to go for the 4 or 6. I understand their were some issues with engine blocks cracking with the 4 so would like to avoid those models.

Have a budget of $10K to $15K. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Also keen to join in on some local trips and meet local members.

Regards

Sun Boy

Cheers Bruce, that's what will most likely happen but worth a try.  :)
