Last post by GP - September 08, 2021, 09:12:49 PM
Hi All
We have a four wheel drive run coming up for non-members on Sunday 19th September
Meeting point is at the parking area in Charles St Kenilworth next to the Showgrounds for 8.30am to get registration and set-up under way for a start at 9.00am
We will be driving easy to moderate trails from Kenilworth through to the Conondale National Park and popping out through the bottom at Mount Kilkoy.
We always request that your vehicle is equipped with recovery points, and you are carrying your own first aid and fire extinguisher.
We also request that you try to make sure you have a UHF radio, either hand held or in car so that we can keep track of each other on the way.
Lunch will be somewhere on the trail so remember to bring a picnic lunch and refreshments.
We have a rule of 1 member per non-member so register your interest here or on our club forum site. Depending on interest spots may be limited so get in early!

Trips & Pics / Non-Members Run - Old Coach Ro...
Last post by GP - May 09, 2021, 07:26:13 PM
Hi all, I'm doing a run through the Old Coach Road from Benarkin to Nanango and back to Blackbutt
Trip conditions will be Medium with some access to some interesting offshoots
So far conditions look good!

Meeting time: for sign-up 8.00am and we hit the road at 8.30am

Meeting location: for those coming from Brisbane and Surrounds it is the Colinton Rest Area, corner of D'Agular Highway and Emu Creed Road. It's just after the United Petrol Colinton Roadhouse so that's the place to top up the fuel, have a snack and make a "personal pit stop". (because it'll be the last till Nanango)
If coming from up around Blackbutt and beyond, you can meet our trip leader George at Benarkin

Because it could be a long day, for those who need to duck off home early can do so from Nanango but if you want to hang around the return to Blackbutt will be via some other Moderate to Medium trails

Whose Coming? As usual we have a ratio of 1:1 of members to non members so to make sure of who is who the tally is below

For Sale/Wanted / Manual Gearbox 2010 Jimny
Last post by Prolecs - January 31, 2021, 11:31:34 AM
I am looking to "borrow" a circa 2010 Jimny manual gearbox, if anyone has one laying around their shed, or out of the car while rebuilding or whatever?? No matter it the gearbox is stuffed.
 |dea It's for a fit up on a project I'm doing, the idea being to bolt up over the Liana M18A clutch (a little bigger than the Jimny standard clutch), and rotate the engine to check clearance in the bellhousing, while I have the M18 engine sitting on the garage floor.
The full project is an M18A conversion.

Minor oversight perhaps?

Fixing it shortly.  Need to paint the tray properly so it will be coming off in the next week or 2. Flaps are going on then.  ;)

Hey Peter, how did you get away with no mudflaps when you got it registered?
